Sofia Lee Moran has been a photographer for over two decades. She studied photojournalism and photography as well as mime and dance in Asia and in Europe.
Her main interest is in portraiture but she also enjoys photojournalism, architecture, nature, weddings, still life and aerial photography.
Her work has been published in Camera Arts Magazine, Southwest Aviator and New Mexico Woman among others. She is influenced by photographers such as Flor Garduno, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Gilles Peress and Phil Borges.
Sofia is a native New Mexican. She has traveled extensively all over the world, the camera being her steady travel companion. She has also been an ambassador to the French town of Annonay. One of her passions is Flamenco which she continues to study.
Recently Sofia has accompanied campaign candidates through New Mexico.
